MAGISTRATE DR. JOSEPH APAP BOLOGNA B.A., LL.D.
Magistrate Dr. Joseph Apap Bologna was born on the 4th of February 1948, son of the late Professor Philip Apap Bologna and Wilfrida nee Gollcher. From 1956 to 1962, he attended St. Aloysius College, Birkirkara. In 1964, he entered the University of Malta. In 1968, he graduated in the Course of B.A. (Gen.) whilst in 1971 he graduated as Doctor of Law (LL.D.)

On the 1st of December 1988, he was appointed Magistrate and has presided over Criminal and Civil cases both in Malta and in Gozo. Moreover, at present he is Chairman of the Rural Leases Board and Lard Arbitration Board.

On the 3rd of June 1984, he married Mariella nee Stilon and has two children Louisa and Paul.
